You will have some downtime in between sessions, in the evenings and on the weekends so you might want to bring some good books, stamps and envelopes to write letters to loved ones. You also may want to bring or ship a bike. This is not a requirement but remember that you are responsible for your own transportation while in our program. This will help you travel between campus and your home, as well as get around in your free time. Most clients already have bikes. If you can’t bring one, plan to buy a new or used bike when you arrive. Phones and laptops are useful but will be held by your lead therapist during the first phase of rehab for therapeutic and safety reasons.
If you are feeling overwhelmed by this list of things to bring to rehab at THR, don’t. The goal is to get here safe and sound. Bring what you can and we can help you figure out the rest once you are here. If you have any questions or need help. Call your admissions specialist, and they will help guide you.
