Our approach to treatment is quite different and so are our results. Our clients have such a high success rate because we treat the brain and body as two interdependent systems that both need to be repaired, synced and optimized. Like a computer, both the software and hardware need to be operational for it to function.
In this analogy, thinking and behavior are the software, and the brain and body are the hardware. Addiction takes a massive toll on both, and our science-based approach focuses on getting the brain and body back to a foundational state where traumas and behaviors can be addressed. This process is necessary to sustain a lasting sober lifestyle.
It is essential to spend the time needed to understand what a healthy you looks like – how to live with emotional, mental, and physical strength. At 90 days, the brain is just starting to heal. Any less time simply isn’t enough to maintain long term sobriety.
Healing takes time. Although the symptoms of Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (PAWS) are typically the strongest in the first 30 days, in some cases symptoms can last years. Our five month program utilizes ESM fitness to accelerate the healing process by normalizing the biology. This is essential to lasting recovery.
The better clients understand the nature of chemical dependency, the better equipped they are to conquer it. The first three months at Tree House present clients with a comprehensive education of the physiological impacts and inner workings of chemical dependency.
Simply understanding the Tree House tools is not enough. In order to achieve lasting recovery, clients must become fluent and able to automatically employ their new strategies. Although true mastery is a life-long process, the final 2 months at Tree House allow clients to become confident in using their new tools.

Our clinical modalities are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of addiction. Clients learn to identify their unhealthy behaviors and then replace them with functional behaviors, which fosters interpersonal development.
1-on-1 Therapy allows our clients to work closely with therapist to understand and resolve the root causes of their addiction. This therapy removes the variables which created the client’s predisposition for chemical dependen-cy. The client is exposed to a powerful and invasive process which promotes well being, mindfulness, and integration of treatment concepts into daily life.
Addiction Education consists of a hybrid of lessons and interactive process groups. Here clients are introduced to a new set of core principles integral to their treatment. Addiction Education provides an educational overview of the physiological impact of addiction, and equips clients with an understanding of how their personal history might have predisposed them to addiction.
Writing Therapy is a structured series of expressive writing assignments, designed to provide our clients a platform to identify, process and resolve traumatic events in life. Writing is assigned and processed with a Writing Therapist, who clients meet with multiple times each week. Digging deeply into the often unexplored areas of our past and behaviors is necessary for lasting recovery.
Process Group is a daily treatment element that allows clients to develop a powerful sense of belonging, communi-ty, and care for self and others. Process Group, which takes place in a group setting and is guided by a counselor, allows clients to share in the struggles and victories of everyone’s recovery pro-cess, strengthening bonds between team members.
