Fall is here—don’t miss out on these great events!
Yes, summer is officially over. But there’s still plenty to do before holiday madness takes over. From football parties, to food festivals and finally, Halloween, the month of October can sometimes feel like a free pass to start celebrating early. And if we don’t have a plan, everything can go wrong in a hurry. Luckily, there are a ton of options for sober fun all over the county. Let’s check out a few.
GREAT PACIFIC AIRSHOW
Since 2016, the Great Pacific Airshow has featured some of the world’s most powerful aircraft and stunningly skilled pilots in the world. Huntington Beach will host the airshow October 4-6, and attendees can expect hours of entertainment from the Canadian Forces Snowbirds Team, the USAF Lightning and Thunderbolt Demo Teams, and historic Navy aircraft. This is an event you won’t forget. For more information, visit pacificairshow.com.
DINNER DETECTIVE: INTERACTIVE MURDER MYSTERY SHOW
Looking for an interesting sober date night? Have a dinner out and help solve a murder at the same time with some of the area’s best comic actors on Saturday, October 5. While dinner is prepared and served, you’ll get the chance to participate in solving the crime, and have everything wrapped up by dessert—just like on TV, but seriously funny. Select your menu and get your tickets here: Dinner Detective.
IRVINE GLOBAL VILLAGE FESTIVAL
Celebrate the diversity of Irvine October 12-13 at the Irvine Global Village Festival at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine. The festival is a representation of the rich cultures that have coalesced to make Irvine what it is today. Featuring dance, arts, cuisine, and music from dozens of nationalities and ethnicities, the Global Village Festival demonstrates that all of us should be welcome in the United States.
