The Bolsa Chica Wetlands

The Bolsa Chica Wetlands are located in Huntington Beach, California, right along the Pacific Coast Highway. Retreat into the wetlands if you’re feeling outdoorsy. There are birds, dreamy tall grasses, and views of the beach.

Laguna Beach Art Galleries

If you’re feeling like you want a dose of art, you don’t have to go all the way to LA. You can head over to the myriad galleries in Laguna Beach and get some local flavor. There are arts festivals, galleries, and artist studios that are open to the public. Wander the beautiful streets and take in the art.

The Fullerton Arboretum

The Fullerton Arboretum is a 26-acre gorgeous botanical garden with over 4,000 species of plants. This is the place to go if you want to explore the bountiful plant life in Orange County while strolling through beautiful scenery.

El Moro Canyon Trail

If you’re into hiking, this is your spot. The OC is filled with dreamy hiking trails and this one is easily accessible and located in northern Laguna Beach. 

Sunset Cinema Movies and Summer Concerts

The Orange County Parks and Recreation Department hosts free outdoor movies and concerts. These are held at parks throughout OC. Check out the website for a schedule of events and movies. Watch the sunset while taking in some entertainment.
